CMS Senior Partner Penelope Warne and Corporate Partner Cathy Pitt have been recognised at this year’s prestigious Legal 500 UK Awards. The Awards recognise and reward the best UK in-house and private practice teams and individuals from the past 12 months. Rather than submissions, judging is based on comprehensive research and feedback from over 50,000 client interviews.
Cathy has been named an Individual winner in the category of Investment Fund Formation and Management. The award is recognition of her market-shaping work on transactions as well as testament to the expertise and growing reputation of our Funds practice.
Penelope received the Legal 500 Outstanding Achievement award, honouring her role in making a real difference to the profession. The publication named Penelope as a role model for future generations of women, in an industry where gender balance remains a big issue. She was recognised as outstanding for leading a large global firm through several ground breaking mergers alongside her commitment to diversity in the City.
