Elizabeth is a Senior Associate in our Technology and Media team. She advises a range of clients from large multinationals and billion pound funds through to smaller start-ups, with drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and transformative outsourcing arrangements. Elizabeth has particular experience advising on technology contracts, from outsourcing to general procurement, to the supply of services, software-as-a-service and software licensing. Elizabeth has experience working closely with the IT procurement team of one of the UK’s largest retailers, negotiating and drafting technology agreements.

Relevant experience

  • A large multinational telecommunications company in relation to outsourcing its technology-heavy services, including IT and infrastructure platforms; 
  • One of the UK’s largest retailers on a range of large scale and smaller commercial contracts from pilot programmes with its merchant services provider to contracts for cybersecurity and risk management;
  • A UK based start-up on an agreement for payment processing services with a global payments company; 
    A block-chain based service provider on day-to-day technology contracts as well as drafting a template MSA for use with suppliers;
  • A multinational financial services company on a range of matters, including advising on the due-diligence aspects of an acquisition, to technology contracts and services agreements; 
  • A large UK retailer on an organisation-wide IT transformation project, including the negotiation and drafting of an MSA and associated schedules; and
  • A large UK insurer, reviewing its BAU technology contracts under tight timeframes as part of a ‘virtual secondment’ service provided by CMS.
