Heather graduated in History from Durham University and was awarded a commendation for the Graduate Diploma in Law by BPP University Law School in Manchester and a distinction for the Legal Practice Course by the University of Law in Manchester. 

Heather joined the firm as an associate solicitor in February 2020, having qualified at Hill Dickinson LLP in February 2016. Heather advises employers and trustees on both contentious and non-contentious matters including drafting trust documentation, scheme mergers, benefit change and the pensions aspects of corporate transactions. She is also a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers and a committee member of its North West sub-group.

  • Trustees of large and medium sized pension schemes in relation to scheme wind up, employer debt and scheme funding issues.
  • A UK company and its international parent in relation to the merger of three defined benefit pension schemes into a new sectionalised scheme.
