Jacqueline is a Senior Associate in the Environment and Health and Safety team. She advises clients on criminal and civil matters arising from health and safety incidents. She is experienced in defending clients in health and safety prosecutions, appealing enforcement notices and representing clients at Coroners' Inquests and Fatal Accident Inquiries. She also regularly advises organisations on their strategies for ensuring proactive compliance with health and safety.
She supports clients with health and safety internal investigations; as well as liaising with the Police, HSE and Local Authorities and representing clients at Police and HSE interviews.
She regularly defends clients in civil claims arising from incidents: cases involving catastrophic injuries, complex liability and quantum issues. She has extensive knowledge of civil court procedure in Scotland, including the All Scotland Personal Injury Court and the Court of Session.
