Joaquín is an abogado in the CMS UK Infrastructure, Construction and Energy disputes team. Joaquín is specialising in project advisory and resolution of complex multi-jurisdictional disputes across the infrastructure, construction and energy sectors. He has worked on arbitrations, litigations and adjudications in different jurisdictions, as well as matters before the Technology and Construction Court. He regularly advises Spanish-speaking international contractors.

After graduating with degrees in Law and Business Administration (E3) from Universidad Pontificia Comillas‑ICADE in 2014, Joaquín trained for three years to join the Spanish Diplomatic Corps. In 2018 he retrained as a lawyer in a market‑leading Spanish law firm where he was involved with the Capital Markets and Art departments before joining CMS in 2019.
