Tim’s practice is across the full spectrum of development, including infrastructure projects, town centre regeneration, tall buildings, market and affordable housing, office and retail schemes.
His advice spans the full consenting process, ranging from legal reviews of applications and advice on strategy pre-submission, negotiating planning conditions and S106 agreements (including future-proofing planning obligations for long-term flexibility within consents) and S278 highways agreements, to launching and resisting judicial review challenges to consent for urban development and infrastructure schemes. Tim also advises on CIL relief and associated state aid issues. Recently, Tim’s practice has focussed on advising both promoters and objectors on a range of compulsory purchase matters.
