UK and EU Health and Safety CMS Calendar and Newsletter September 2020

CMS is delighted to present its bi-annual Health & Safety calendar and latest Health and Safety Newsletter. The Calendar provides key dates for proposed and existing health and safety legislation in the EU and the UK, including the recent draft Building Safety Bill published in July. The Calendar also provides some background on what the CMS health and safety team can offer and what we do. The Newsletter discusses the publication of the latest HSE Workplace Fatality figures for 2019/20, guidance around the safe operation of HVAC systems in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and a review of the recent draft Building Safety Bill. The newsletter also includes an “in focus” article which discusses the OGUK COVID-19 Safe Working for UKCS Offshore Installations guidance.
