Adrienne Kraudi is of counsel in the Banking & Finance Group at CMS Budapest. Adrienne gained her several decades of professional experience in the banking and capital market sector as deputy CEO and the general counsel of a significant CEE bank group and as a colleague of the Law and Tax Faculty of Corvinus University, Budapest and honorary senior lecturer of Budapest Business School University of Applied Sciences.
She has gained significant experience in international financing including company acquisitions, corporate finance, and project financing and as an arbitrator in the settlement of disputes relating to capital markets and lending and borrowing matters as well as acting as a chairman of the arbitration panel several times.
The main focus of her practice lies in constructing complex financing structures and resolving complex multi-jurisdictional disputes, particularly in the field of cross-border transactions and joint-venture contracts.
She is an expert financial and capital markets lawyer and has published several books and publications on this subject area. As the President of the Financial and Capital Market Permanent Arbitration Court she deals with answering theoretical and practical questions regarding financial arbitration on a daily basis. Adrienne is the Vice-president of the Executive Board of the International Chambers of Commerce Hungary Section and member of the Commission on Banking Technique.
Furthermore, she has extended practice in performing tasks as non-executive member of several boards of directors and supervisory Boards in the financial sector (i.e. leasing, investment firm, management of investment funds, and pension funds, etc.).
She regularly serves as lecturer at the Budapest Corvinus University and Pazmany Peter Catolic University and is regular speaker on dispute resolution, capital markets and CSR topics.
