Gábor is an Associate in the Commercial team at CMS Budapest primarily focusing on competition law.  He graduated from the Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2013. He gained a Bachelor’s Degree in European Business Law at the University of Abertay University Dundee (Dundee, Scotland) and spent one semester at Université Paris- Sud XI (Paris) as an Erasmus student.

Gábor has relevant experience in horizontal and vertical agreements restricting competition, merger clearance, abuse of dominance as well as comparative advertising and multiple cases of misleading of consumers. He assisted in drafting of various memoranda relating to competition and general commercial law issues. He also assisted in the preparation of numerous CMS presentations and know-how materials covering the latest updates of competition law.

Gábor spent 6 months on secondment at GE Healthcare UK Limited in London as a legal counsel.

  • A major online marketplace and hospitality service provider in the competition control procedure initiated by the Hungarian Competition Office for misleading consumers.
  • A major flight operator in competition control procedure initiated by the Hungarian Competition Office for misleading consumers and the following court-review procedure.
  • SMR Automotive Hungary and MSSL Manufacturing Hungary in the merger clearance process relating to the acquisitions of the automotive business line of Ábrahám and Co.
  • Samsung SDI in connection with the Hungarian part of a world-wide merger clearance procedure.
