Gabriella Ormai is former managing partner (1999-2018) and now Partner at the Budapest office of CMS, co-heading the Commercial practice in Hungary. Her main areas of expertise include: commercial, employment, tax, insurance, litigation and corporate law.

She has extensive knowledge of Hungarian corporate and commercial law and has worked on several major transactions that have restructured the Hungarian economy over the last thirty years.

As a recognised lawyer and multilingual excellent businesswoman, Gabriella is arbitrator at the Permanent Arbitration Court attached to the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Moreover, she is strongly dedicated to corporate social responsibility and lends her professional skills extensively to several charities, she is chair of the board of the Red Nose Clown Doctor Foundation, as well as a member of the board of directors of the Seedling Trust. She was previously a board member of the BCCH for ten years.

The new world of work in Hun­gary
