COVID-19 travel restrictions for non-EU citizens in Portugal

1. Requirements for entry from non-EU countries and proof of vaccination

For non-EU citizens, Portugal has no regulations pertaining to non-EU vaccination passports. Portugal has only adopted the Digital Certificate for nationals and for the EU citizens.

In order for non-EU citizens enter Portugal, they must present a PCR test within 72 hours prior to entry. At the moment, citizens arriving from Ukraine do not have to fulfil mandatory quarantine, but at any moment this situation can change.
Only those vaccines are recognised in Portugal that are approved by the EMA (European Medicines Agency): Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Janssen.
