What was the most interesting cross-border, cross-discipline project that you were involved in?

I was part of a team involved in preparing a procurement / funding strategy and a suite of shipbuilding contracts for an Iranian client. This required two trips to Tehran and several meetings with the client. It was a great experience and a brief insight into a fascinating culture.

In which CMS office (besides your own) would you like to work and why?

I’d happily spend time in any of our offices on the basis that all experience is good. If pushed to choose though I’d go for Santiago.

What has been your most memorable moment as a lawyer?

Attending the launch of a ship in Northern Germany. The whole shipyard turned out with their families. The children were all waving flags, bands were playing and champagne was flowing!
