The aforementioned Public Notice now sets out the procedures to be followed for lodging a complaint where a person with an interest in land is aggrieved by the particulars captured in the Gazette Notice of 31st December 2020.

In summary, if you hold an interest in any property appearing in the Gazette Notice, and you have a complaint to make with regard to the particulars in respect of your property, the complaint procedure is as follows:

  1.   A complaint, setting out the grounds of the complaint, is to be lodged at the complaints help desk situate at Ardhi House, 1st Ngong Avenue, Nairobi using Form LRA 96 (Presentation on Objections to the Conversion List), which is obtained from https://lands.go.ke/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Form-LRA-96.pdf.  We are happy to prepare the form on your behalf should you require us to.
  2. The duly completed complaint form, which requires witnessing of the signature of the complainant should be lodged with certified copies of the title in question, a copy of your identification, a copy of your PIN Certificate, your contact details, or contact details of the person who holds an interest in the property (as the case may be).
