  • Advising on bank security perfection and drafting of various bank security documentation for top tier banks in Kenya including Standard Chartered Bank of Kenya Limited, Absa Bank Kenya Limited, NCBA Bank Kenya and I&M Bank.
  • Drafting and advising on a number of real estate transactions including commercial leases, residential leases, tenancy agreements, licences and property transfers.
  • Advising on setting up of associations, societies and other quasi-legal bodies such as the Shopping Centres Association of Kenya and Game Bird Association of Kenya.
  • Involved in preparing commercial agreements including business transfer agreements, share subscription and share transfer agreements, and general commercial contracts.
  • Assisting in a wide range of commercial advisory matters including data protection, mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring, compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Part of the team that was advising one of India’s largest telecommunications group in connection with a proposed consolidation of its Kenyan business with another local Kenyan telecommunications company.
  • Acting for Sustainable Housing Solutions Holdings Pty Ltd in their acquisition of a local company in Kenya for purposes of building affordable social housing in furtherance of the Kenyan Government’s Big 4 Agenda.
  • Part of the team that advised Trademark East Africa Limited (TMEA), a Kenyan company funded by the Department of the International Development for the British Government and in respect of their funding under Grant and Finance Agreements with the Kenya Revenue Authority for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of an integrated Customs Management system (iCMS) and related modernization services at Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
  • Part of the team that advised and acted for International Container Terminal Services Incorporated (“ICTSI“) -  a leading international port developer and operator in respect of  a Joint Venture with a local company for the purposes of submitting a PPP bid for the Selection of the Concessionaire for Phase 1 of the Second Container Terminal Port of Mombasa, Kenya.
  • Acting for Kenya Fluorspar Company Limited with respect to an agreement with Kenya Ports Authority in connection with the improvement of a sufferance wharf and building a new ship loading system at the Port of Mombasa, Kenya.
