Stella is a Partner in the Property & Real Estate Department of the Firm. She is a qualified Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. 

Stella obtained her LLB (Hons.) from the University of Nairobi in 2009, undertook her Pupillage at Iseme, Kamau & Maema Advocates and qualified as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2011. Stella practised law with Iseme, Kamau & Maema Advocates from admission up to June 2017. She then joined Daly & Inamdar Advocates as a Senior Associate in the Property Department in July 2017. 

Stella’s primary areas of practice are Real Estate and Bank Securities.

Relevant experience

  • Acting generally for at least sixteen (16) commercial banks in Kenya on security documentation, including loan agreements, reviewing and advising on offer letters, drafting charges, facility agreements, guarantees and debentures, of varying amounts.
  • Acting for various clients including property developers and owners of commercial buildings. This entails preparation of various transaction documents in the form of sale agreements, transfers and leases. Her involvement includes negotiating terms of sale agreements, approval of leases, registering transfers, leases and security documents at the Land Office and generally advising the clients on legal issues arising thereof.
  • Stella also has practical experience in dealing with a variety of conveyancing and commercial transactions which include preparation and perfection of bank security documents on behalf of banks, preparation and registration of transfer of land, leases, charges, discharge of charges, caveats, restrictions, cautions and Powers of Attorney.
