In 2015, 54% of Luxembourg workers have called in sick at least once and in average they have been sick for 22,1 days. This issue can have a strong impact on productivity and quickly become an issue for employers. In such events, it is important to know the “do’s and don’ts” as the law can get quite tricky. Does a late submission of a medical certificate allow the employer to terminate the contract? What about sickness and trial periods? What can an employer do with an employee who abuses sick leave?
To address all these issues, CMS Luxembourg employment team is pleased to invite you to a round table which will take place on Tuesday 23 May from 14:00 to 16:00 in our office.
