Hugues is a Senior Associate in the CMS Luxembourg Investment Funds practice. Before joining CMS Luxembourg in 2021, he worked for four years in a top-tier Luxembourg law firm.
He specialises in the structuring and setting up of private funds with strategies such as venture capital, private equity, real estate, infrastructure and debt structured as unregulated funds (limited partnerships), RAIFs or regulated funds (SIFs, SICARs) with a particular emphasis on unregulated funds (limited partnerships qualifying as alternative investment funds) investing in private equity and venture capital. Hugues also advises fund managers on the regulatory aspects of the fund’s structuring and pre-/marketing phase.
He is a fully qualified lawyer admitted to the Luxembourg Bar since 2019.
