Dear reader,
Many new events marked the start of 2011.
Last week the social partners reached an agreement on pay and working conditions in the private sector over the next two years. This will have a significant impact on employment law and we will return to this in full, in the next edition.
We have gained a new partner. Stéphane Collin, a specialist in restructuring of private and public companies, cross-border mergers and joint venture agreements, was promoted to partner. Stéphane joined the firm in 1999 and I am particularly proud that CMS DeBacker provided an environment in which he could achieve his ambitions.
On this note, I would like to wish you all an excellent 2011.
