Enforcement and recognition of foreign decisions

Back to Private Clients

We have a team of specialists to assist you with the enforcement and recognition of foreign decisions and public documents.

We provide advisory services and assist and represent you in the event of litigation, particularly under the new Code of Private International Law instated by Law no. 1.448 of 28 June 2017, which came into force on 7 July 2017, or under the Principality's bilateral treaties allowing simplified procedures.

Our expertise includes exequatur procedures that make foreign court rulings, foreign arbitration awards and documents certified by foreign public officials enforceable in the Principality of Monaco whenever they are enforceable in their country of origin.
