Many companies have already successfully dealt with immediate questions such as supply chain management, scaling down businesses, managing employees, cash flow management and liquidity reserves. We are now seeing that corporates are increasingly focusing on mid- to long -term stabilization measures and potential restructuring for the post-Corona crisis phase. This is where we believe CMS's offerings can be of interest to you. CMS has set up this guide covering some high-level advice on restructuring implications, available state measures and other important data.

CMS Expert Guide to competition law during coronavirus crisis
Any business in the world could be affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. For many, urgent measures need to be taken to avoid serious financial consequences as a result of these challenging and unprecedented times. Business models will likely require adaptation, with cost-efficiency being improved to increase businesses’ chance of survival and promote their long-term viability. Some businesses may even be forced to cooperate with others in their industries or sectors. Relevant governments and competition authorities have approached this in different ways, such as introducing leniency measures or changing the law. More than ever, the CMS EU Competition Group is ready to help businesses facing difficult decisions. This expert guide outlines the state of play in each jurisdiction. It will continue to be updated as the situation develops. If you have further questions you can find your contacts in the CMS Competition Group Contact Card.

CMS Expert Guide to coronavirus related loan moratoriums
As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to spread across the globe, governments and banks in many jurisdictions have introduced extraordinary measures to alleviate the financial and economic impact of the pandemic. Such emergency measures often include moratoriums on loan payments (either imposed or recommended), authorizing a borrower to suspend or postpone payments (principal, interest, or both) for a certain period of time. Our guide contains a brief but comprehensive overview of credit moratoriums for 30 countries worldwide, collated with a view to helping our clients navigate through the various government responses, and which will be updated on a regular basis.
