CMS advises DELTA on management buy-out Solland Solar Energy Holding B.V.

25/07/2011

CMS advised the Dutch energy company DELTA on its sale of solar cell and solar panel producer Solland Solar Energy Holding B.V. at Heerlen to the current management.

Since January 2011 DELTA had been looking for buyers for Solland. DELTA is pleased that the management of Solland Solar has now taking over the company. DELTA has committed to a social safety plan for the current employees for a period of 18 months to provide security during the transfer.

Solland Solar has high expectations of the introduction of Sunweb, its new generation and inhouse developed solar panels. Solland Solar intends to introduce these new generation solar panels in the coming months in the strongly growing European consumer market for roof panels.
