During the presentation of the 2009-2010 season of De Nederlandse Opera (DNO) in Het Muziektheater in Amsterdam, CMS Derks Star Busmann - attorneys at law, civil law notaries and tax advisors - was presented as the sponsor. CMS and DNO entered into this relationship because of the similarities between the two organizations. They share values, such as the ambition to make the impossible possible, to work in an international context and to be innovative.

In addition, the organizations are jointly sponsoring OperaFlirt, a programme by which CMS and De Nederlandse Opera want to enter into a relationship with the target group of people under thirty years of age. We will continue to cooperate in the 2009 - 2010 season, for example by sponsoring the production of Le nozze di Figaro.
Truze Lodder and Pierre Audi, respectively Business Director and Artistic Director of De Nederlandse Opera, are also enthusiastic about our cooperation. DNO works together with several partners. Besides the international opera houses and festivals with which it has close ties, the company is also open to relationships from the business community.
