CMS DSB advises Zodiak Television AB

CMS Derks Star Busmann has advised Zodiak Television AB, a Swedish media company, in the purchase of all shares in Palm Plus Multimedia BV. Palm Plus is a successful multimedia and production company, which will now form a new company together with Kanakna Netherlands BV (acquired by Zodiak Television in 2007). This new company will make productions under the existing names Palm Plus and Kanakna.

Palm Plus is responsible for well-known shows such as 'Mijn tent is top' (RTL4), 'Road Hogs' (SBS6), 'Shit Happens' (BNN) and 'Save my holiday' (SBS6). Kanakna Holland specializes in the productions of reality programmes and original formats such as 'So you think you can dance' (RTL5), 'Peking Express' (Net5) en 'Van Dis in Afrika' (VPRO).

Mark Ziekman led the team, which also consisted of Stefanie Citroen, Cars-Jan van Gool, Gordon Tichelaar, Marlous de Groot, Daphne Castelijns and Marloes Woerdman.
