CMS gives advice to Pon on lease new Audi Centrum Amsterdam

Pon Onroerend Goed, a real estate company and owner of the Audi Centrum Amsterdam, has entered into a long-term lease agreement with M. Caransa. On the instructions of Caransa, the construction work for a new terminal with a floor space of approximately 6,000m² in Amsterdam Zuidoost will start in October 2011. In the middle of July 2011, the existing structure on this location will be demolished.

It is expected that about 1,900 new and used cars will be sold each year in these new premises. This will turn the Amsterdam terminal into one of the largest car selling spaces in Europe. If everything will be going according to plan then the new Audi Centrum Amsterdam will open its doors in the middle of November 2012.

The real estate attorneys Bart van Meer and Arnout Scholten of CMS Derks Star Busman provided Pon/Audi with advice on the redevelopment as well as on the lease agreement and the collaboration agreement.
