Eva Schothorst-Gransier works in our firms' Litigation & Insurance Practice Group. She advises on breach of contract, dissolution and attachments. She is specialised in liability and insurance law, focusing in particular on complex and/or international personal injury cases, including employers' liability. She advises and litigates on a range of issues concerning product liability (in Life Sciences), professional liability and D&O liability. Eva also has extensive experience with insurance-related regulatory matters in connection with the Financial Supervision Act. Eva has wide-ranging knowledge and experience in drawing up policy texts and litigation in policy disputes, including cases held before the Ombudsman. She works mostly on behalf of insurers and other companies.

Eva is a lecturer in Liability and Insurance Law for the Dutch Lawyer Association, hosts many in-house classes for clients. She also regularly publishes articles in leading professional journals.

Eva has been working as a lawyer since 2001. Before joining CMS in 2008, she worked for a large law firm in Rotterdam, followed by a stint at a medium-sized firm in The Hague.
