Eva Schothorst – Gransier specialised in health & safety, can be regarded as a leading claims defense lawyer, particularly in the field of product liability and product safety (recalls and notification to authorities). She is involved in high-profile cross-border defence litigation and recall strategy of great strategic importance. Eva advises (London) market leading insurance companies, life sciences, retail and real estate companies. ​

Eva heads the international CMS Product Liability in Life Sciences Group, which consists of over 45 senior lawyers across Europe, Russia and China, with in-depth knowledge of the Life Sciences industry and a proven track record of dealing with high end cross-border product liability claims and recall advice. Her strong expertise is supported by the fact that she was admitted as a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel ("IADC"). The IADC is an elite international organisation of approx. 2500 peer-reviewed in-house counsel, insurance executives, and outside counsel representing business entities around the world. Members include Aon, Bayer, Johnson&Johnson, Liberty, Swiss Re, Pfizer, Microsoft, etc. In the Netherlands only 4 other lawyers are member.
