Kimberly Friesen is an advocaat in our IP/IT Practice Area Group who specialises in privacy, data protection and IT related contracts. She has advised international clients on the (practical) implementation of the GDPR, complex international data transfers, HR and data protection related issues and the processing of special categories of personal data (e.g. in the context of healthcare tools or diversity programmes). She also specialises in providing 24/7 cyber incident response services on a wide variety of major cyber incidents, including several complex multiple cross-border data breaches.

  • Kimberly has provided support to Qatar Airways on various data protection matters. 
  • Kimberly is advising Lemonade Insurance (global insurtech company) on the implementation of their insurance business in the Netherlands regarding a wide range of data protection matters.
  • Furthermore, Kimberly provides support to TJX (a leading off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the U.S. and worldwide) regarding GDPR/HR  related matters.
