Maartje Speksnijder is an advocaat in our Real Estate & Construction Practice Area Group and specialises in public procurement law and construction law. She represents and advises contracting authorities, developers, consultants and contractors in all relevant industries, with a special focus on the real estate (construction), infrastructure and energy industry and on sustainable, innovative and social procurement.​

Maartje joined CMS in 2011 and has gained vast experience in acting as counsel in (complex) construction and procurement disputes both before civil courts and various arbitration institutes, as well as reviewing and supervising tendering procedures, drafting contract documentation and advising on all aspects of public procurement law.​

Before joining CMS, Maartje worked at the district court of Amsterdam.

Maartje Speksnijder is a lawyer in our Real Estate & Construction Practice Group and specialises in public procurement law and construction law. Maartje represents and advises contracting authorities, developers, consultants and contractors in all relevant industries, with a special focus on the real estate (construction), infrastructure and energy industry and on sustainable, innovative and social procurement.

Maartje joined CMS in 2011 and has gained vast experience in acting as counsel in (complex) construction and procurement disputes both before civil courts and various arbitration institutes, as well as reviewing and supervising tendering procedures, drafting contract documentation and advising on all aspects of public procurement law.

Maartje lectures on public procurement law and she is an annotator for the legal journal JAAN (case law public procurement law). She is a regular speaker on events regarding social and sustainable procurement.

Before joining CMS, Maartje worked at the district court of Amsterdam.
