Omar specializes in Corporate Law, with emphasis in corporate, commercial, civil, registry and contractual matters, mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganizations; with extensive experience in corporations of all sorts, drafting of commercial contracts, legal strategies in case of stakeholders' conflicts, sale and purchase of companies, incorporation and development of new businesses, and complex due diligence process. He also provides advice on real estate and registry matters, having negotiated and drafted a diversity of contracts for the development and operation of shopping malls.
Omar joined CMS Grau in 2014. Prior to that, he was a member of the Corporate Area at Estudio Barrios & Fuentes Abogados.
He has been assistant professor for Corporate Law at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) and for Obligations at ESAN University (2016). Omar has published several articles in several law reviews, such as Revista EDM of the Corporate Law Team of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), Ius Et Veritas, Factor Ejecutivo and Actualidad Jurídica.
