The real estate team at CMS advised REInvest Asset Management, a Luxembourg based asset and fund manager, on the sale of the Renaissance Plaza office building in Warsaw.
The Renaissance Plaza building was built in 1998 in Warsaw’s Wola district. Reconstructed in 2016, it offers a surface area of 10,000 square metres located on 7 floors.
Lidia Dziurzyńska-Leipert, partner in the real estate and construction team at CMS, says: “For a long time now investors have shown a continued interest in the office buildings market in Poland. This can be seen very clearly in the number of transactions concluded, as well as in new investments. We hope that the dynamics which we can now observe will continue on the market in the coming months, both as regards buying/selling and leasing office space”.
CMS’s work covered comprehensive legal advice during the sale of the office building: from coordinating the due diligence process, negotiating the preliminary agreement, to preparing the final sale agreement.
Lidia Dziurzyńska-Leipert (partner in the real estate and construction team), Barbara Krupińska-Fuganti (senior lawyer), and Izabela Kultys (lawyer) all advised on the transaction.
