Agnieszka Górecka is an advocate and an associate in the Intellectual Property and Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice at CMS Poland. 

She specialises in personal data protection, e-commerce, consumer rights, and intellectual property law. Her experience includes advising on GDPR compliance, data processing, audits, policies, and the handling of data breaches. Agnieszka also advises on online services, marketing strategies, and solutions for the financial and insurance sectors.

She has experience in intellectual property law and unfair competition, particularly in preparing court pleadings on IP breaches. Agnieszka assists clients across such sectors as finance, telecommunications, new technologies, media, and online services.

Relevant experience

  • RTB House, on the applicability of the Digital Services Act to RTB advertising services - i.e. the provision of a Demand-Side Platform (DSP) for retargeting and profiling users on websites.
  • Airbnb, on a comprehensive assessment of the legal framework applicable to the client’s business in Poland, including Hosting Experiences. 
  • RTB House, on various e-commerce and digital international projects that relate to providing digital advertising services by the constantly growing Demand Side Platform in the real-time bidding environment. 
  • Ocado, on e-commerce, consumer law, IP issues, as well as various regulatory issues, including cybersecurity, telco, critical infrastructure, radio equipment, and electromagnetic compatibility-related requirements, affecting the client’s business in Poland.
