Szymon Klimkowski, a Polish-qualified attorney at law, is an associate in the Energy and Infrastructure Department at CMS Poland. He specialises in advising entities from the renewable energy sector. In support of his clients he has drawn up and negotiated contracts and provided ongoing legal services for projects. Among other things, he participated in the acquisition of the assets of an energy company (a significant European capital group), which had a capacity of nearly 50 MW. He has experience in due diligence related to transactions of sale and purchase of assets. His experience also includes advising on obtaining financing for photovoltaic projects and implementing loan agreements.

He has over six years of professional experience in servicing business entities. He also specializes in corporate and civil law, mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.
