Wojciech Koczara is a partner and Head of the firm’s Real Estate practice in Poland.

Wojciech specialises in real estate corporate law. He has been advising domestic and international investors in relation to the purchase, sale and lease of commercial estates and the performance of development projects for over 16 years.

He has advised on various significant real estate, corporate and financing transactions in Poland, including the acquisitions and disposals of office buildings, hotels and shopping centres, as well as projects concerning logistics centres.

Before joining CMS, Wojciech worked for Clifford Chance and Domanski, Zakrzewski, Palinka, and the National Bank of Poland. He is the author of several publications on real estate law.

  • Starman UK Services Company Limited on the purchase of the Le Meridien Bristol Hotel in Warsaw including real estate legal due diligence.
  • PZU Asset Management – advising on the acquisition of a logistics park (shares in SPV companies) in Silesia, including through forward purchase contracts including real estate due diligence.
  • Bank Pekao on conducting legal due diligence of a real property designated for the construction of a shopping centre in Toruń.
  • Carpathian Asset Management on the sale of commercial premises in 4 shopping centres in Poland, including legal due diligence of the properties.
