For CMS-RPA, this type of award means recognition for hard work, and also motivation for further improvement. In the words of Rui Pena, founding partner of CMS-RPA "This award is an objective recognition of the high standard of quality legal services that we provide to all clients, and also of the foundational vision that has always shaped the evolution of this law firm and that has been achieved through the efforts of all, slowly, steadily, stone by stone. We have the strong intention to continue our project, now more motivated, with equal dedication and with renewed enthusiasm". Jose Luis Arnaut, another founding partner and current managing partner believes that "This moment of prestigious international recognition confirms our effort in the work with our clients”.
Note about the Chambers Awards:
The Chambers Awards for Excellence are considered the most prestigious awards in the world of Law, commonly known as the "Oscars of Law Services”. These awards are given by Chambers & Partners, the most important Legal Directories globally, in association with Lex Mundi, the largest association of independent law firms following stringent selection criteria through deep surveys ranging from interviews with lawyers responsible for legal firms to submissions with detailed information. These Shortlists are produced on a yearly basis. The fact of being included in these lists is already considered a very important recognition. The awards winners are chosen from these shortlists. There are two types of awards: the Best Firm in each country award and the "Client Service Award", which recognizes the firm that provides the best service to its clients.
