In the context of the Competition Procedure for the Allocation of Reserve Injection Capacity in the Public Service Electric Grid for Solar Photovoltaic Energy (Solar Auction 2020), the Jury of the Procedure announced on August 13th, the following:
1. Bidding
The bids will occur in the morning, from 9AM to 12PM, and this schedule, in articulation with the Jury, may be changed by OMIP, through communication by e-mail and on the Portal. For that purpose, the following schedule is established:
- August 24th, 2020 - 9AM - Simultaneous bidding for lots 1, 4, 6, 11, 12;
- August 25th, 2020 - 9AM - Simultaneous bidding for lots 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10.
The date and time of the beginning of the bids for each lot shall be defined by OMIP and communicated to the bidders by e-mail until 4PM of the working day before the bidding takes place, informing the Jury.
2. Training Session
The joint training session will take place at the following date, time and place:
- August 18th, 2020;
- 10AM - 1PM;
- Link Zoom, to be sent by e-mail on August 17th, 2020.
It is allowed the participation of a representative of each qualified bidder, i.e. the person responsible for their representation before OMIP (Auction Operator), indicated as operational contact on the application form. In case a replacement is needed, OMIP (solar2020@omip.pt) is requested to send by e-mail the identification of the replacement person (Name, phone, e-mail) that will participate in this session.
3. General Test
The general test will take place on August 20th, 2020, starting at 3PM and will consist of a test auction, with access for agents to the auction platform and interaction with it, from their premises and with the necessary means for participation in the Auction.
4. Auction platform and telephone contact
The information regarding the bidding platform will be sent by OMIP, by e-mail, to the operational contact indicated on the application form of the person responsible for its representation in front of OMIP (Auction Operator), and will include the following data:
- Access data to a link for downloading the application;
- Platform User Manual;
- Access credentials to enter the platform.
The installation and access to the application can be tested immediately and any kind of support can be requested, in case of need, from the indicated OMIP contacts - e-mail and telephone number - at the following time: working days, 9AM - 17PM.
