Miguel Esperança Pina is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution and Insolvency & Restructuring teams.

With over 30 years´ experience, he represents a roster of national and international clients in domestic and international arbitration, and conducts complex commercial and civil litigation, on a global scale.

He is highly-regarded in contractual litigation, notably on commercial, financial, energy, pharmaceutical, project finance, public concessions and construction disputes.

He also sits as an arbitrator in domestic and international proceedings involving disputes connected to corporate relations, financial contracts, commercial distribution, computer and telecommunications services, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, among others.

Miguel is individually ranked Band 1 for Dispute Resolution, in Chambers Global and Europe, 2023 and has been ranked for the past 17 years. He is also acknowledged as Leading Individual for Dispute Resolution and he is recommended for Insolvency and Restructuring by Legal 500, 2023.
