Meet the Law

Following the termination on 30 November 2021 of the Energy Acquisition Contract (Contrato de Aquisição de Energia) held by Tejo Energia, S.A. (which operates the thermoelectric plant of Pêgo) and the expiration of the respective licences, the Portuguese Energy Secretary of State determined, on 17 September 2021, the opening of the tender procedure for the allocation of grid injection capacity to the public service electric network, which will be available for new allocation after the referred termination, as well as the respective tender documentation.  

The procedure aims at the allocation of a capacity of 325 MVA (in case of projects with exclusively solar technology) or a capacity of 485MVA (in case of projects with technologies from other renewable energy sources).

Applications cannot be less than 100 MVA and must be submitted by 11.59 pm on 18 October 2021.
