Bogdan is an US and Romanian qualified associate in the Transactions Team at CMS, and a member of our TMT – Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector group.

With expertise in a wide range of corporate matters including investments, group reorganisations, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions, Bogdan advises a variety of clients, including strategic investors and private equity firms. He also advises companies from their initial Seed/VC/Growth Capital investment rounds, to company disposals/exits.

Bogdan also advises and supports them in relation to financings, corporate reorganisations and other transactions, as well as corporate governance matters.

Relevant experience

  • Liberty Global on the sale of its direct-to-home (DTH) satellite TV operations in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia to M7 Group for an approximate total enterprise value of EUR 180 million.
  • Liberty Global with respect to its divestment of business in Romania in the EUR 18.4bn cross-border transaction with Vodafone.
  • The leading global cybersecurity technology company BitDefender on the sale of an approximately 30% stake to Vitruvian Partners.
  • Zentiva Group a.s. on its acquisition of Romanian pharmaceutical company Solacium and its subsidiary Be Well Pharma from Siyiara Enterprises — a holding entity of A&D Pharma / Dr. Max Group
  • A Czech IT software distributor in relation to establishing a joint venture in Romania.

Bogdan is an US and Romanian qualified associate in the Transactions Team at CMS, and a member of our TMT – Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector group.

His practice is focused on advising clients from the TMT sector on all aspects of the corporate lifecycle, including investments, group reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions, as well as providing general corporate governance assistance.

Bogdan is also part of several business development initiatives in TMT across CMS globally.
