We have recently put together our CMS CEE Guide to data protection. This guide aims to provide you with an overview of the various national personal data protection frameworks that exist in CEE, particularly in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, and Ukraine, we have provided legal assistance in each of these jurisdictions for many years.
For your convenience, the guide has been structured in a question and answer format. Drawing on our extensive experience in handling personal data protection matters across the region, we have selected questions that we believe you should be asking when planning, implementing or evaluating personal data protection policies. The guide is divided into chapters, each of which answers similar questions in respect of a different jurisdiction.
- For more insight on data protection, we will be organising a webinar. Please contact Katalin Kovacs for more information.
- Tailor-made training is also available. Please contact the relevant country contact listed in the guide below for more details.
We will be delighted to provide you with printed copies of this guide upon request. Please contact Katalin Kovacs with the desired number of copies and the delivery address.
We hope that you will find this guide useful, and would appreciate any feedback you have.
Please note that the guide and its contents do not constitute legal advice. Professional legal advice should be sought when navigating through any data protection issues. The contents of the guide are correct as at 1 October 2013.
