CMS advises Constantia Flexibles on acquisition of majority stake in Russian TT-Print

23 October 2019

CMS has advised Constantia Flexibles on its acquisition of Russian TT-print.

CMS in Moscow and Vienna supported the world's third largest manufacturer of flexible packaging – Vienna-based Constantia Flexibles – during its acquisition of Russian TT-print. The planned takeover was announced at the end of last year and was recently successfully completed.

With the acquisition, the Austrian Constantia Flexibles Group will now show an even better local presence and thus serve the rapidly growing Russian packaging market. More than 100 employees work in the plant in the Russian city of Voskresensk, which will now operate under the name Constantia TT. The plant supplies customers in Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. It mainly produces products for the pharmaceutical, food and dairy industries.

The international team led by Johannes Trenkwalder also comprised Thomas Heidemann (Partner, Corporate/M&A), Maxim Boulba (Partner, Competition) and Nikolai Molostov (Associate, Corporate/M&A) in Moscow and associates Marie-Christine Lidl and Marco Selenic (both Corporate/M&A) in Austria.
