Anja Kenda is an associate in the Ljubljana Real Estate team. She joined CMS in September 2022 as a qualified lawyer, having trained at a public notary and several renowned Slovenian law firms. She primarily works in the fields of real estate & energy.

She advises companies on a wide range of real estate subjects such as real estate purchase agreements, lease agreements, and entries in the land register. She supports real estate companies and investors in their real estate transactions and advises Slovenian and international companies on real estate and energy matters as well as performs legal due diligence audits.

She has extensive experience in assisting clients with various energy mandates, including providing advice on Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) in the Slovenian jurisdiction and on compliance with other energy related reporting requirements in Slovenia. Additionally, she possesses a deep understanding of the regulatory framework governing Power Purchase Agreements and other Energy Contracts. Anja has successfully advised clients on obtaining subsidies in accordance with the Act Governing Aid to Businesses to Mitigate Impact of Energy Crisis.

With her comprehensive knowledge of the Slovenian energy sector's regulatory framework, Anja is able to guide clients through potential obstacles and enable them to seize the opportunities presented by the Slovenian energy market.
