CMS announces 32 partner and two director promotions globally

Frankfurt, 29 April 2016. CMS has added 32 partners across 23 offices globally, in addition to two director appointments in Scotland. Women represent over 40 % of the firm’s promotions, spread across a number of practice areas and jurisdictions.

John Craske and Fiona Letham, who lead the Legal Services Unit (LSU) at CMS, have also been promoted to the role of ‘LSU Director’, with effect from 1 May. The LSU currently comprises 30 paralegals, located in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and in the three years since its launch has more than tripled in size.

The LSU was set up in response to the needs of CMS clients who wanted innovative resourcing solutions and better value from their legal advisers, particularly around the resourcing of repeat, volume and process led legal work. The team provides legal support services to CMS lawyers and clients in the UK and internationally.
