The Changing Face of Civil Justice in Europe

At the European Parliament

Belgium

Past event
04 November 2008, 18:00 - 23:00 UTC +00:00

Across the EU, civil justice systems are under scrutiny. The latest reforms focus on collective redress and raise the prospect of class actions
across Europe.

CMS and The European Justice Forum are jointly sponsoring a programme for research into civil justice systems at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies at Oxford University directed by Dr. Christopher Hodges.

CMS is hosting three launch events in Brussels, Zurich and London. The format will be a debate on the future of civil justice systems and in particular, collective redress, followed by a drinks reception to continue the discussion.

We would like to invite you to the Brussels launch at the prestigious EU Parliament Building which will be chaired by Diana Wallis MEP along with CMS litigation partner André Lombart, leading expert Dr. Christopher Hodges and a key industry speaker.

We hope you will be able to join us and help us celebrate the start of our partnership. If you are unable to attend the Brussels event on the 4th of November, please feel free to register for either:
