CMS advises Avectris on the acquisition of ERPsourcing AG

Avectris, a Baden-based full-service IT provider for Swiss medium-sized companies, strengthens its SAP expertise and acquires SAP solution provider ERPsourcing.

Since its establishment in 2000, ERPsourcing has been a successful partner to SAP Switzerland. Its team of certified SAP consultants offers support to more than 100 Swiss SME customers. The core of its service portfolio is made up of ASP solutions ("SAP from the could"), solutions from the ERPb@seline product family through SAP PMC ("partner managed cloud"), Business Process Suite (BPS) process solutions, and SAP consultancy services, including application consultancy, outsourcing and hosting.

Avectris considers SAP services as one of its strategic growth areas. And with ERPsourcing, Avectris has found an ideal partner that complements and expands the existing SAP portfolio. ERPsourcing enjoys a strong position in the market as an integration and operations partner, with outstanding industry and process competencies. Avectris on its part contributes its knowledge and experience in large-scale SAP projects and the operation of complex (SAP) solutions, with extensive integration experience in outsourcing projects. The takeover of ERPsourcing is an important step for Avectris in the further implementation of its strategy. By adding the approx. 25 full-time employees of ERPsourcing, Avectris now has an SAP competency centre with 75 full-time SAP consultants, complemented by a strong network of freelancers and partners.

A team from CMS Switzerland, led by partner Stephan Werlen, advised Avectris AG on all legal matters of the transaction.
