CMS advises Gaydoul Group on the sale of Navyboot

CMS advises Gaydoul Group on the sale of the Navyboot trademarks and certain of the Swiss Navyboot boutiques and outlets

The department store group Globus, which is part of the Migros Group, acquires the renowned shoe and fashion brand Navyboot and a large part of the Swiss Navyboot boutiques and outlets with effect as of 1 January 2019.

Globus and Navyboot were in business relationship for many years prior to this transaction. By way of acquiring the clothing company Schild in 2013, the Globus Group has been a licensee of products from the women's and men's outerwear brand Navyboot for some time. By adding shoes and leather goods to its fashion collections, Globus aims to further strengthen the brand and expand its range.

A team of CMS Switzerland lead by partner Stephan Werlen advised Gaydoul Group on legal matters of the transaction.
