CMS advises shareholders on the sale of Alpha Solutions AG to Bechtle

Bechtle, an IT service provider with 70 IT system integrators in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as e-commerce companies in 14 European countries, acquires Alpha Solutions AG in the context of a corporate succession plan of its former majority shareholder Daniel Popp.

Alpha Solutions with 74 employees in St. Gallen and Zurich offers high-quality software and system solutions for business processes. The customers of Alpha Solutions, which was founded in 2000, predominantly include medium-sized Swiss companies, with a focus on the food, process and wholesale industries as well as hospitals.

By acquiring Alpha Solutions, Bechtle further expands its range of services in Switzerland for ERP and CRM projects as well as cloud solutions. In addition, Bechtle strengthens its long-term partnership with Microsoft. Alpha Solutions will also benefit from the transaction by being able to offer its customers an even broader range of IT solutions from the Bechtle Group's portfolio covering various manufacturers. After the acquisition, Alpha Solutions will continue to operate under its existing structure and brand; Stefan Heim will remain in the company's business management function.
