Country contribution for the publication "Employees' Intellectual Property Rights". This comparative law publication describes and analyses employers' acquisition of employees' intellectual property rights, first in general and then in depth as manifested in 33 jurisdictions worldwide. The book was developed within the framework of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).



Rules on the allocation of intellectual property rights generated in the course of employment are spread over various Dutch intellectual property acts. In this contribution the authors will provide an overview of these rules categorized by intellectual property right.
