Past event
20 November 2018, 11:00 - 12:00 UTC +02:00

Do you participate regularly in public procurement procedures or do you plan to? Are you in contact with your competitors in this context? Discover this webinar session regarding the interaction between competition law and public procurement.

Needless to say public procurement law may facilitate collusion between economic operators. According to the European Commission collusion in public procurement markets may even add up to 20% to the price that would be paid in competitive markets. National competition authorities have set out their priorities on this issue and recently imposed significant fines on undertakings that had colluded in public procurement procedures.

Our aim during this webinar is to present clear guidelines on how to deal with public procurement procedures and be compliant with competition law. Furthermore, we will discuss recent case-law and draw your attention to a number of pitfalls.
