You are kindly invited to our lunch seminar on "Using cookies without breaching the rules".

In today’s data-driven world, cookies and online tracking technologies have become ubiquitous. These technologies are hardly visible yet almost unavoidable for anyone who goes online or uses apps. Website owners like using them in order to improve user experience, to increase online traffic and ultimately to enhance their sales.

The EU is currently revisiting its rules on cookies and online tracking technologies and we expect the EU’s ePrivacy Regulation (ePR) to become law early in the next EU legislature. The ePR is the last missing piece in the EU’s effort to provide digital privacy for EU citizens.

During our lunch seminar we will:

  • Provide practical tips and tricks to deploy cookies and online tracking technologies on your website(s) and app(s) while mitigating the risk of violating the applicable rules;
  • Update you on the current state of play in the legislative process towards the ePR;
  • Give you our view on the key changes that the ePR is expected to bring (once it will be adopted);
  • Learn what data privacy authorities are saying about cookies.

We look forward to welcoming you on this occasion.
