The chances of a no-deal Brexit are becoming more likely every day. This could have a huge impact on the insurance sector, due to the level of regulation and interconnection between the UK and the EU financial systems.

CMS lawyers from the UK and the Netherlands will discuss some of the key implications of Brexit for insurance market players active in the Netherlands and working with the UK's insurance market. Below is an overview of the topics we will cover:

- Current status of negotiations; is the UK leaving the EU without a deal

- Implications

          - Market access

          - Ability to continue servicing new and existing insurance policies (including underwriting and claims handling)

          - Data privacy aspects/issues

- Q&A

The session will last max. 60 minutes and will be held in English. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions in writing during the webinar. Participation is free of charge.

We are looking forward to your participation on 29 October 2020.
