Dutch government assessing consequences of German zero bids for offshore wind

24/04/2017

In 2017 the Dutch government will tender the offshore wind sites Hollandse Kust Sites I and II. The recent results of the zero bids for offshore wind parks in Germany may however have implications for the Dutch regulatory framework that was developed over the last years. The ministry of Economic Affairs is therefore currently assessing the consequences for the proposed 2017 tender rules and the Dutch legal framework may have to be amended. Please note that as a consequence the information session for the 2017 tenders on 9 May 2017 held by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland) has been postponed to a later date.
